Lendinara thrives within the fertile, alluvial lowlands of Veneto’s Rovigo province, where silt-rich soils fed by regional rivers create an exceptional agricultural cradle. This distinctive terrain yields 15 protected denominations, headlined by highly localized specialties. Among them, the crisp Insalata di Lusia IGP is cultivated within a restricted zone of just 10 municipalities, benefiting from the high water table. Sharing this unique terroir is the pungent Aglio Bianco Polesano DOP, grown across 29 municipalities. These specific clay-loam soils infuse the crops with intense minerals, defining the authentic flavors native to this corner of the Adige basin.
