This specific riverine environment fuels 15 protected denominations overlapping the municipality. Most notably, the silt-heavy lands yield the prized Riso del Delta del Po IGP, a cereal defined by brackish coastal breezes, alongside the pungent Aglio Bianco Polesano DOP, which draws its intense character from the local alluvial clays. These distinct products prove how water and land merge here to shape a highly specialized agricultural identity.
