Arsiè

Arsiè, a rugged mountain enclave in the pre-alpine reaches of the Belluno province, leverages its dramatic elevation changes to cultivate 15 protected denominations. The steep, forested valley walls provide the diverse floral nectar needed for the artisanal Miele delle Dolomiti Bellunesi DOP, a mountain honey restricted to a zone of 60 municipalities. These same alpine pastures sustain the dairy herds behind the robust Piave DOP cheese. On the sun-exposed lower slopes, cold mountain drafts meeting warmer plains air create the ideal thermal excursions for the sparkling wines of Vigneti della Serenissima DOC.
